Welcome to Oslo!

This is the capital of Norway, Oslo.  Here you have the nature close by and you get to experience culture, arts, shopping and friendly people. Oslo has more than half a milion inhabitants in the city and more than 1 million in the metropolitan area. 

 

 

The population is currently increasing at record rates, making it the fastest growing major city in Europe.

The city is situated beautifully at the end of the Oslo fjord.
 

In Oslo you can visit Holmenkollen, Frogner park with statues by Gustav Vigeland and Fram museum where the original boat that Amundsen and Nansen used on their famous trips to both North and South pole. 

Oslo is a modern city with many architectural buildings, but they have also kept many historical buildings so you get to discover it all when visiting this beautiful city.

         

As Oslo is situated by the sea they are also known for their many fish- and seafood restaurants, so make sure to plan a visit in a fish restaurant while in town. The area ”Aker Brygge” has been renovated with many new modern buildings, a pedestrian street and a marina.
