NW PRODUCTION HAS LODGED A STATUTORY TRAVEL GUARANTEE WITH KAMMARKOLLEGIET

(THE LEGAL, FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES AGENCY) IN ACCORDANCE WITH

THE TRAVEL GUARANTEES ACT.

What is the travel guarantee?
The travel guarantee provides financial protection for travellers in the event that a trip is cancelled or disrupted. In such an event, the traveller can claim compensation from the travel guarantee.

Which trips are covered by the travel guarantee?
The travel guarantee applies primarily to package tours, but also to trips that are similar to package tours, charter travel and travel in conjunction with training or education. The travel guarantee does not, however, apply to one-day trips.

Package tours
A package tour comprises at least two of the following services

# transport
# accommodation
# tourist services (such as car rental, spa or admission to an event).

A package tour can, therefore, consist of just a hotel with a ticket for a concert, without transport. Alternatively, it could entail a flight and a rented car, without accommodation. If the tour does not include accommodation, the trip must take place over at least 24 hours.

You are protected by the guarantee regardless of whether you are travelling in your capacity as a private individual or as a representative of your business.

The guarantee applies both if you have purchased a ready-made package and if we have arranged a customised package especially for you. Should we choose to divide the package tour into separate services for the purposes of invoicing and payment, this has no impact on the validity of the guarantee

Insurance – NW Production takes good care of you!

The extended insurance which we have included for our customers covers defects in connection with a sold package trip and it includes:

• Personal injury and damage to property
• Economic losses before or after the trip, such as due to the bankruptcy of a supplier
• Closed airports due to ash clouds
• Cancelled concerts and cruises
• Searching, evacuation, rescue

The insurance covers the period before, during and after the trip. The errors and shortcomings can be very concrete and tangible, such as a hotel burns down, an activity is cancelled or a ski lift goes down. But it can be more abstract events like a delay due to fog or volcanic eruption which makes travellers miss part or the whole of the journey; an artist who gets sick and can not perform during the concert or an airline which goes bankrupt and can not perform a planned trip.
